AMCN Chair ofย  the ICT committee. Tarik Hakkou is a seasoned ICT professional with over 20 years of experience. Currently sales engineer specialized in modern IP networks with prior experience in diverse areas of information and communication technology.
His experience includes management positions in software development, field operations, design architecture, presales and account management.

Tarik holds a Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from University Hassan 1st, Morocco, a Business Administration Certificate from ISCAE, Morocco, and an MBA Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He believes that information and communication technology (ICT), when used the right way, could be a strong lever for a positive economical and societal change, notably in Morocco. ICT could be a powerful tool when it takes into account the local realities to adjust its offer, in order to make the transition to digital economy easier for the very small business and the self-employed, including the unregistered ones as a common example.

Tarik is happy to join the AMCN executive committee, and is committed to lead AMCN ICT efforts to contribute to the development of Morocco.
