On Thursday, the American Moroccan Competencies Network (AMCN), in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Health, local authorities, and the B2 Health Support Association, organized a medical and surgical caravan in Tafraout, Morocco. This initiative brought essential healthcare services—including ophthalmology, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN), general surgery, and radiology—to the local population.

In addition to direct patient care, the caravan served as a platform for professional development. Several nurses and medical residents received hands-on training, and the event fostered meaningful exchanges of clinical experience between Moroccan and Moroccan-American healthcare professionals. This effort reflects AMCN’s continued commitment to strengthening health systems and building local capacity through sustainable partnerships.
